The strong demand for insulation materials and green building products from STEICO continues and has led to new record revenues and profits.

We are particularly pleased to have been able to further improve our profitability. During the third quarter, we achieved a new record EBIT margin of 18.2% and the 9-month EBIT margin also reached a new record of 17.3%.

Isolated view of the third quarter 2021

In the third quarter of 2021, the STEICO group was able to increase its total turnover by 22.6% to 101.8 million euros (previous year: 80.0 million euros) – the highest revenues ever recorded in a single quarter.

New all-time highs were again recorded for both earnings and margins.

Gross profits for Q3 amounted to 49.0 million euros and are thus up 25.4% (Q3 2020: 39.1 million euros).

EBITDA for the third quarter amounted to 24.1 million euros and was therefore 35.3% higher than the previous year (Q3 2020: 17.8 million euros). The third quarter EBITDA margin was 23.1%.

EBIT in Q3 was € 19.0 million, up 54.9% (Q3 2020: € 12.3 million). The third quarter EBIT margin was 18.2%.

Q3 EBT amounted to € 18.7 million, up 56.9% (Q3 2020: € 11.9 million).

Q3 net income amounted to € 14.1 million, up 51.7% (Q3 2020: € 9.3 million).

Provided that there are no negative effects from the development of the pandemic or unfavorable weather conditions in the fourth quarter, the Management Board expects for 2021 as a whole sales growth of more than 20% and a ratio EBIT between 14.0% and 17.0% (in terms of total operating revenue).

Given the strong demand, the Management Board believes that 2022 will also be a very positive year. The capacity extensions already in place and to come mean that STEICO is perfectly equipped to continue its growth. If the recent dynamic growth in the costs of materials and electricity does not continue, the management of the company also believes that profitability will remain stable at a high level.
