Folkart opens its first international office in Dubai

Folkart’s office in Dubai precedes its offices to be opened in Berlin and Cologne, where the company has worked with partner companies in the German market.

The opening of the Folkart Dubai office was celebrated with an event that took place at the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira Hotel in Dubai. The evening was hosted by Folkart leaders, including Cem Mengi; Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saya Group, Mesut Sancak; chairman of the board of directors of Folkart and Metin Sancak; Managing Director of Folkart, who introduced the group companies and Izmir to investors in Dubai for business opportunities in Turkey.

The opening event was attended by esteemed investor groups from Dubai. Folkart Dubai partners Özgür Kaya, İdris Demirhan and Mohamed Julfar were also among the participants in this pleasant evening.

Cem Mengi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saya Group, parent company of Folkart, highlighted the mutual benefits to be gained from cooperation between the UAE and Turkey. Emphasizing Turkey’s unique historical and cultural richness, Mengi expressed optimism about the future of Turkey’s economy and recalled that Turkey’s export volume has exceeded $ 221 billion in the past 12 months. Mengi also introduced the Saya Group, whose roots go back to 1950 and introduced its pioneering subsidiaries Pharmactive Pharmaceuticals, Volt Electrics, Volt Technology and Volt Gearbox.

Metin Sancak, Managing Director of Folkart, shared details of 16 completed and 8 ongoing Folkart projects in Izmir, with a total value of over 25 billion Turkish Liras. Metin Sancak stressed that Folkart is ready for new collaborations and invited investors to Izmir, a beautiful city with high investment potential.
