Nominees announced for the 2021 Corporate Governance Awards

The Secretary General announces the shortlisted nominees for his 14th Corporate Governance Award.

The winners, selected by a panel of independent judges, will be revealed at a special virtual event starting with online networking before the show at 4:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, November 11. The ceremony will begin at 4:45 p.m. ET. Click here for more information.

The Secretary General’s Corporate Governance Awards celebrate outstanding achievement in the areas of governance, risk and compliance. Like every year, submissions were made for a wide variety of companies and individuals for excellent work in areas such as the organization of general meetings, compliance and ethics programs, ESG reports, entity management, proxy statements, engagement and – for the first time this year – corporate operations.

This year’s award submissions highlight the efforts of many members of the profession to keep the governance apparatus functioning amidst the health crisis, political upheaval and economic uncertainty.
